Eloquence, November 2008.

Eloquence이란 영어잡지에 달마다 우리 사이트의 컬럼이 나와요. 조금 놎게 올리는데 어쩔 수 없네요. 한달 지내야 올리는 거니까요. 엘로퀜스이란 이 잡지를 많은 이태원, 신촌, 강남, 그리고 다른 국제 식당, 레스토랑, 가페에서 얻을 수 있어요. 근데 영어로 나오니까…일단 무료입니다! 그리고 이런 이쁜 패션 사진들이 종이로 나오면 훨씬 더 이뻐서 꼭 가지러 가세용!

Our site publishes a column every month in Eloquence magazine, which is a free-but-high-quality mag that is available in restaurants and cafes pretty much anywhere a lot of foreigners go. And it’s nice to have pictures published on paper, no? Keep you eye out for Eloquence!

우리 사이트가 Japan Times의 일본에서 한국패션이 인기가 많아진다는 기사에 나온 거네요! 한국어 버전이 없지만 그래도 알려드리는 거예요. 우리 사이트에서 모든 컨텐츠를 한국어/영어로 둘다로 제공하도록 노력하지만 원래 영어로 나온 신문기사까지 다 번역해주는 건 아직 좀…그렇다고요. ㅋㅋㅋ 그래도 Japan Times이란 일본(처음으로 해외신문에 나왔음!)신문에 나왔다는 사실은 너무 좋은 소식아닌가요?! ㅋㅋ 그쵸!? 이 기사에 대해 좋게 생각하는 거고 그리고 기사가 FMS의 충성이 찬 독자들의 해준 콤멘트들이 큰 도움이 됐단 사실도 기분이 좋은 일이죠. 그리고 류지이란 우리 패션일기를 하는 컬럼니스트의 해준인터뷰도 큰 도움이 됐대요. 다들에게 — 쌩유 앤드 아싸! ㅋㅋ

Wow — FMS has officially been covered in the international foreign press, as in a newspaper! We came out in the Japan Times’ piece on the rise of Korean fashion in popularity among the Japanese, with 4 pictures to boot (except why did they cut OFF those fabulous boots in the 3rd pic?)! We’re very happy with the piece, the input offered by our faithful FMS readers (which the the reporter, Shawn, DID read and said he found very helpful, even if he couldn’t use excerpts), and the interview given by fashion diarist Ryuji. Thanks go out to everyone involved, as well as a well-earned “Assa!” (HT to Seoul Man)

I was featured in the Hangyeoreh, a major left-of-center newspaper here. And they did a good job conveying what I said, and even included a few pictures to boot! Nice!
