우와. 홍대에서 자신있게 빨리 진행하는 이 언니를 봤을때 너무 당황스러웠지. 미니원피스. 핫핑크 가방. 문신! 또 핑크 샌달. 그런 사람들하고 비교하는 거아니라. 그냥 감상하는 거지. 이런 멋쟁이 보면 “와우. 진짜 홍대이구나.”라고 생각할 수 있게. 기분이 너무 좋았지, 이 언니 보고.

I spotted Little Miss Fabulous speed-strutting past the park in Hongdae, with minidress, hot pink bag, and tattoo?! Even if it’s fake (as it likely is), it’s still a little piece of fabulous that you don’t see around too often. This isn’t the kind of person one lusts after, or even compares oneself to; she’s just a little piece of the atmosphere that really makes one think, “This is definitely Hongdae!” A flash of beauty to be appreciated, I think.

이 것 좀 특이했네요. 캐쥬얼이고 평범한 스타일이며 아주 sharp한 accent도 있는 것같아요. 요즘에 여지들이 자기 다리를 강조하려고 하는 걸 이해하는데 사실 무리하게 짧은 치마나 화려한 스타킹을 신지만 도리어 우리 눈살을 찌푸리게 하는 겨우가 많지 않나요? 사실 좀 심플하고 기본적인 장신구로 다리를 강조하는게 더 미묘하게 끌리는 것아닌가요?

그리고 Ballerina처럼 “en pointe” (까치발) 포즈를 잡고 우산도 en pointe인 것같았고. 그래서 처음에 눈에 뛴 거죠.우산 화려하고. 일부러 선택한 것같지 않으며 그냥 가지고 나온 건데 그래도 개성이 있는 것. 그리고 캐쥬얼한 스타일이며 이쁜 다리를 멋진 open-toe 구두로 강조하고 accent를 한 것.

그래서 웬지 눈에 띈 거예요. 병범한 스타일이지만. 사진으로만 느낄 수 있는지 모르겠지만 좀 개성이 있는 여자같았다. 웬지.

This young woman caught my eye not so much because of her wild style or wily ways, but the way she accented her casual style with a touch of sharpness. A lot of young women these days seem to be wearing shorter skirts and louder stockings in order to attract attention to the glamor of their gams, but it often comes off as looking like it’s trying too hard, or going just a bridge too far into the realm of bad taste.

I like subtle, with a little bit of flair. The colors of her loud umbrella caught my eye first, as did her fabulous en pointe pose mirrored by her leaning on her pointy umbrella. I don’t know if the pictures capture it, but she seemed like a fun girl.
