이 dress는 너무 좋아. 너무 좋은데 에에에엥~! 신발 신발! 엘레강스는 하나도 없는 신발은 바로 문제다. 가방은 좀 그렇지만 완전한 X는 아니야… 신발은 좀 촌스럽고 웬지 리본은 하나도 귀엽지 않아. 그냥 보기 귀찮게만 하고 화나 - 보면은. 그래도 드레스는 나이스다, 진짜. 언니, 담에 그냥 어울리는 신발을 사지, 응!? ㅋㅋ

I really like this dress. Yet, the shoes are…umm…gross. The dress is a whiff of elegance in that it seems to flow down her form and on down the street with her, but these silver clogs with the big ribbons on them – eww. And although the bag isn’t hideous, it’s not a great choice, either. Sure, it’s not totally horrible, girlfriend, but you did go to the trouble to pick up that nice, billowy “one-piece” and try to put together an ensemble, so maybe think about the “feeling” of the different parts more? Just a friendly suggestion – otherwise, that dress is just fabu-loso!

We talked with both the leader, Jee-ah, and the other members not just about their music, but about who keeps them looking good and obviously feeling even better! It was no surprise that Jee-ah’s older sister is a fashion designer and the force that keeps them looking as hot as they sound.

물론 이 언니들이 이쁜데 더 재밌는 건 의상, 옷, 신발. 그래서 눈에 듸었는데 물어보니까 지아 (데카의 리더) 자기 패션디자이너 친언니는 옷과 패션 컨셉을 만들었네요. 딱 만났을 때 웬지 대게 반가웠네요. 아마 우리처럼 어느 아주 어러운 분야에서 자기 이름을 만들기 위해서 애를 애를 쓰는 걸 보니까 정을 들었다고 할 수 있을까? 일단, 대단한 여성들, 대단한 그룹인 것같아요. 언니들, 화이팅!

Shoe Interview!

1. High-heels or flats? 하이힐 or 단화?

특별히 가리지는 않는다..그날 옷과 컨디션에 따라..전날 많이 걸었다던가 많이 걸어야 할 것 같은 날엔 발에 부담이 덜 가게 플랫슈즈나 운동화를 신는다. 그렇지 않은 날엔 당연히 하이힐,,그치만 너무 높은 굽은 안 신는다..

2. What makes a fabulous shoe? 간지나는- 멋진 신발을 만드는 조건?

아무리 예쁜 신발이라도 상태가 깨끗하지 않으면 전체의 분위기가 깨지는 것 같다.물론 옷과도 잘 어울려야 하고… 그리고. 걸을 때의 자세도 중요한 것 같다..발을 질질 끈다던가 다리를 벌리고 걷는다던가..이런건 신발을 죽이는 일이다.^^

3. How many pairs of shoes should a woman own? 대부분 여자들은 몇 켤레의 신발을 갖고 있나요?

글쎄..사람에 따라 큰 차이가 있지 않을까..아직 내가 몇켤레가지고 있는지도 세어보질 않았는데 남의 신발장까진..^^

4. How many pairs of shoes do you own? 몇 켤레의 신발을 당신은 갖고 있나요?

지금 처음 세어봤다..70켤레 정도 되는 것 같다.

5. What’s the most you’re willing to pay for a pair of shoes? 당신이 신발을 볼 때 가장 신경쓰는 것은?

일단은 디자인에 끌리지만 아무리 예뻐도 발이 편하지 않으면 구입하지 않는다.사 놓고 신지 않을게 뻔하기 때문..

6. What do you do in your shoes? What is your occupation? your interests/hobbies/activities? 당신의 신발을 신고 어떤 것을 하나요? 당신의 직업은 무엇인가요? 당신의 관심사/취미/활동들 은 무엇인가요?

난 높은 힐을 신고 무대에서 춤추듯 연주를 한다..가만히 앉아서하는 클래식 연주가 아닌 역동적인 크로스오버 음악..무대위에서 만큼은 머리부터 발끝까지 사람들의 시선을 받는다..

7. Which pair of shoes do you wear the most? the least? Why? 어떤 신발을 가장 자주 신나요? 가장 안신는 신발은 어떤 것? 이유?

이상하게 신는 것만 신게 된다..운동화를 신는 날이 아니면 실버 T 스트랩을 즐겨 신는다..가장 안 신는건 뮬이다..걸을 때마다 뒤가 들려서 계단 내려갈때 소리가 크게 나는게 싫다..

8. I believe every pair of shoes has a fascinating history. What’s the story behind your favorite pair? 신발마다 다 사연이 있을 것 같은데, 가장 좋아하는 신발은?

가죽꽃장식이 달린 검은 스트랩 샌들..편해서 몇번 굽갈이까지 하면서 신고 있는데 오랜시간 함께한 만큼 여러가지 추억이 깃들어 있다.

9. Are there any fashion trends you dislike or even absolutely hate? 가장 싫어하는 패션 트렌드는?

싫어하는 패션트렌드는 없지만 온통 최신 트렌드로 무장한건 정말 싫다..

10. Which pair is your favorite?

가장 자주 신는 신발이겠죠?^^

알아알아. 밑에 LuxuryGirl의 말은 맞아. 진짜 맞아. 나도 그렇게 얘기했고. 색깔 3가지이상 하면 안되고. 보통 너무 혼란스러워서요. 근데 일부러 여러 색깔, 양이 비슷하게 나오고 소재도 똑같해서…Lifesavers사탕처럼 나오니까 좀 재밌고 좋아보여요.

특히 신발, 매니큐어, 페디큐어, 목거리, 귀거리 다 밝고 무채색깔로 나오니까 (사실 서로 안맞지만) 그 화려한 효과자체는 포이트이죠. 사실 귀거리랑 신발이 서로 어울리며 이 모든 소품들이 방해가 안 돼죠. 옷은 하도 밝아서 그 거만 눈에 띄는 거죠.

Usually, a good rule to follow – as LuxuryGirl made note of – is that of not exceeding 3 colors in an outfit. There’s a lot of that in Korea. Too many patterns, too many colors, too much going on. But the young lady above gets away with it.

Why? Because the candy-like variation of her colors is the point of the outfit, she does it on purpose, and the amounts of color are fairly even, and she doesn’t vary materials. She looks like a Lifesavers roll. Her light-colored accessories don’t get in the way, even though they don’t all technically match each other – in fact, between her manicure, pedicure, shoes, necklace, and earrings, she all over the place – it all works out, since the brightness of the colors is the main thing, and everything else just needs to get out of the way.

이 거만 하지말아라. Let us just not do this.
