미스코코랑 멋진 생일티에 갔었는데 버스데이 걸은 은주라고 했어요. 은주는 아는 사람들이 많고 요식 조달업을 하려고하니까 종로3가쪽에 있는 와인빠를 필려가지고 파티를 했어요. 맛있는 와인, 음식이 너무 많아서 좋았어요. 더 은주한테 만든 음식을 보고 싶다면 그녀의 볼르그에 들어가시죠.

Both MissKoco and I had a chance to attend a birthday party thrown by an up-and-coming woman named Unju, who is working hard on becoming one of the most capable food caterers in Seoul (visit her food blog here).

그 카페는 - Cafe Scene이라고 - 낙원시장 바로 옆에 있었어요. 그래서 깜짝 노랬어요. 보통 ‘멋진 와인빠“를 생각하면 뭐 삼청동이나 청담을 생각난느 거잖아요. 아마 낙원시장근처는 많이 변하고 있나봐요. 밑에는 초대장과 약도이예요.

It was held in ritzy Cafe Scene, which itself is in a most unexpected place: right next to the Nagwon Market in Jongno 3-ga. Here’s the map from the invitation:

그리고 거기 다닌 사람들이 너무 재밌는 사람들였어요. 아주 인터레스팅한 일하는 외국인도 많고 쿨한 한국인들도 많았어요. 진짜 재밌는 대화가 되는 ‘칵테일 파티’는 드믄 일이라서, 아주 좋았어요. 많은 좋은 대화도 했고 좋은 사람들을 많이 만났어요.

More than that, there were some fun and fashionable people in attendance, who had the gift of being able to give some good old-fashioned gab. Lots of interesting folks there.

그리고 바다이란 친구한테 (바로 왼쪽 그리고 아랫사진에 맨 오른쪽) 축하해요! ‘미남들의 수다‘에서 나올 줄 몰랐네요! 일단 다 알고 있던 건 미남이란 걸. ㅋㅋ

We also want to give a congratulations to Bada (to the left and on the far right in the picture below), who we didn’t know was going to be featured on a television show for the Chuseok holiday! He was on “A Chat With Handsome Men”, which ran on KBS2.

Well – when you look good, you just look good – what can one say? Good job, man.

음식이 아주 맛있었는데 빨리 나갔어요. 그 건 굿 푸드의 문제야: 맛있을 수록 금방 떨러진다. 나도 유죄입니다.

The food was excellent, but it didn’t last long. That’s the problem with good food – it gets in me belly too damn fast.
