Last week, me and Mr. Moon from Ewha Media went over to the Ewha Women\’s University campus to celebrate the warm weather and to see what the girls were wearing. Our first catch was funky, with a distinctive white military jacket.

Then came the skinny black socks that is such a major trend here in Korea — and won\’t ever quite disappear. I think she does a pretty good job with them here, you\’re into that sort of Japanese/Korean fetish-cutesy look.

Did someone say fetish fashion? Of course I had to take this one…

I liked how the wide-angle lens caught Mr. Moon\’s lens in the frame. The male photographer\’s gaze in full effect.

Moving in for another traditional Korean, in-the-woods shot.

And in the other direction, with flowers. I wanted to shoot the flash against the sun, but I overexposed just a tad, and I should have underexposed the sky, as I did in the other pictures.
\r\n
\r\n
We also bumped into a class grad student, on her way to work, I think. But I loved her accessories and couldn\’t let her go without fishing for a picture!

By this time, we were exhausted, but I couldn\’t help but ask this young lady to pose. She exuded a confident girl-power not seen since Xena, the Warrior Princess.

Extreme angle, slightly underexposed sky, flashed foregound — check! Naughty angle, inquisitive passersby — check! And the warrior princess sandals — nice!

Thanks, girls, for posing and being good sports about the two strange ajussis with cameras!

Wow, I love the legs of both the girls in the fetish socks and the white skirt with the Xena sandals – the first one’s are nice and skinny, the second ones rock those calf muscles. Very nice.
The prettiest outfit must be the one the first girl is wearing, though – I love the way she coordinated the colors.
