But here's the ethical quandary: do you tell the person their tat is mistaken? Or do you simply let them live on in bliss?

While the tattoos are beautiful, they are a good example of why you shouldn't get one with words in a language you are not fluent in (i.e. "it's" instead of "its"). On second thought, I can see an English-speaker making this mistake as well.
