“Fabulous Fashionistas” 컬럼에서는 서울의 뛰어난 멋쟁이들을 소개해 드립니다. 여기서 “멋“이란 어떠한 유행을 의미하는 것이나 비싼 명품 아이템을 자랑스럽게 가지고 있는 것을 의미하는 것이 아닙니다. 자기 자신의 패션 스타일을 특별히 잘 보여주는 사람, 창조적인 코디로 눈에 확 띄는 사람, 그런 분들을 이 컬럼에서 만나보실 수 있습니다.

In the Fabulous Fashionistas column, we shoot the most fashionably original people we can find on the streets of Seoul and bring them to you. We don’t choose them because they follow the trends the most closely, nor because they have the most designers labels attached to their bodies, but because they’ve managed to create their own unique style that one can’t simply pass by without wanting to remember.

몇 칠전에 명동에 대한 좋은 포스트를 썼는데 그 날에 이 두 멋쟁이들을 만나게 됐어요. 너무 특이해서 따로 포스트를 하고 싶었어요. 그리고 꼭 유행을 타는 것아니라 아주 멋진 흑백, basic한 옷을 잘 입으신 거예요.

We snapped this couple on that night we shot the Myeondong fall fashion post, and simply had to put them into their own post. We didn’t think they were so much examples of fast-shifting trends, but more like people who can show remind you of just how good the basics are, all the time.

나비 넥타이. 멋진 가방. 제일 중요한 포인트이죠? 다른 소품들: 안경, 코트, 여자의 귀거리, 목거리, 믈라우스…말로 표현하기 좀…그냥 보시죠. ㅋㅋ 따 그 거야.

Really – what can words say that the camera can’t? The bowtie, the cute purse. The glasses, her hair – we could go on and on about the details – but we’ll leave that to the pictures. They speak for themselves.

Dizzang! Did we really just meet this woman on the street minutes prior, or was she a stringer for Vogue? What a pose! What an expression! Wowsers

사실 얘기해보니까 그 날은 졸업사진 떄문에 찍으러 간 건대요. 그래도 - 그 만큼 멋쟁이이라면…일단 나 그렇게 졸업사진을 못 찍었지. 내가 무슨 패션모델보다 이쁘게…

Actually, after talking with the two of them, they turned out to be very fashion conscious, with him having worked in Dongdaemun, and her being a hair stylist. Who knew, right? We did, of course.
