Now that Impala is absolutely retrofabulous
Woah! I wanna a ride around Seoul in THAT! I bet it’s a pain to park. Then again if you have a car like that here, you probably have enough money NOT to have to park your own car.
I’ve just arrived at Daegu and this is how I would sum up Korean fashion in one word:
LAYERS
everywhere, layers, in the summer. Just looking at the girls makes me sweat! That second picture is a such a tease. I love the girl’s skinny jeans and sneakers combo and I can see she is wearing just a shirt (and no cardigan or vest over it!). She’s keeping it simple and that’s what summer, humid hot Korean summer should be about. And her outfit shows some shape and a very defined silhouette and she isn’t swimming in her clothes like most Korean girls.
Ooooh! I’m glad the tease worked!
Well, feel free to keep your expectations high – Apku is one of the most fashion-activated areas of Seoul, so everybody seemed to have something going on, and we got a lot of good stuff on camera.
It was Thursday night, and there was big pimpin’ and primpin’ going on there. Was good, good stuff.

I am such a Gangbuk Girl, living and working in Gangbuk. Since I moved in with Gomushin Girl to an apartment near Seoul Station, I have hardly visited the Apkujung area. Can’t wait to see how the fashion trend has changed there since!
