wow..
not just in korea, here in the states too maybe not as prevalent.

I went to new york just a few weeks ago and witnessed the phenomenon of fake coach and prada bags.

designer resemblance bags without logos were sold on the streets everywhere in time square. bags w/ logos or the obvious fake designer-ones were sold separately but in a sneaky way. some sellers put bags in trash cans and run if the police comes. in chinatown- lots of fake bags too.

even in las vegas, i went during fourth of July)- fake bags were sold on the stands but didn't see that many though, i guess las vegas is much stricter than nyc.

i live in the suburbs, so no one sells the fake stuff here. only in la or chinatown. so i was amazed at the widespread fake stuff. the interesting thing is that people who bought those fake bags in nyc were tourists. i guess the prices were cheap enough to pull them in.

good article!- oh, i'd pick the not-fake cheap bag that'd fit my personality too!

haha, that brown one towards the bottom on the bird wearing the leggings is a Celine I believe. Which could very well be a fake as well, who knows. They really do make fake EVERYTHING when it comes to fashion in Korea, though it's all made in China.
What is just mindblowing is that they tool up these factories and put all the work in to make reasonably good looking counterfeits to make runs of the most obscure items. Louis Vuitton bags are easily understandable, but on the men's side they make fakes of things that are originally cheap things to begin with, copies of H&M or low-end things, they make fake HARE or Zara things, which are low-end fast fashion that are not fakes, but still essentially copies of high end fashion in and of themselves.
What is funny though, is when they get the English wrong on the boxes, hehehe. I've seen Raf Simons turn into Raf Simon, and Rick Owens become 'RICKOWEN'
