“‘리얼스토리 묘’ 나와 제작진 모두 위험부담 안고 시작”지상파 프로그램과 다른 소재, 다른 시각으로 동 시간대 케이블 시청률 1위를 기록하며 케이블TV 대표적인 시사예능프로그램으로 자리매김한 tvN ‘리얼스토리 묘’. 시사문제, 성문화, 오컬트적인 부분들까지 광범위한 아이템을 다루고 있지만 때때로 일정 수위를 넘나들며 선정성 시비에 휘말리기도 했다. 그러나 원톱 진행자로 이지적이며 고루하지 않은 매력의 클래지콰이 호란을 선택한 것은 프로그램의 중심을 잡아준 절묘한 결합이었다는 긍정적 평가를 얻었다.

호란은 최근 뉴스엔과의 인터뷰에서 “음지에서 존재하지만 전파를 타지 못해왔던 것들을 방송에서 다룬다는 컨셉이 새롭고 흥미로웠기 때문에 ‘리얼스토리 묘’에 동참하게 됐다. 제작진이 처음엔 전문 MC도 아니고 MC 경력이 많지 않은 가수에게 단독 진행을 맡기고 걱정 많이 했다는 얘기를 들었다. 결과가 좋아서 다행이지만 서로가 위험부담을 안고 출발한 셈”이라고 말했다.

분명히 요즘에 유행하는 미니원피스는 너무 이쁘고 그리고 진짜 60년대 리바이벌 스타일이고 머리도 그런 “mod”이란 스타일이네. Jay McCaroll의 스타일 생각나네. 딱 그 거.

Girlfriend looks FABULOUS! This is Ho Ran – which is a funky, two-word Korean name – and Newsen was doing a promotion of what will be the new show she’ll be hosting on tvN called “Real Stories,” which will cover current affairs, sex culture, and the occult, according to the blurb. Sounds like a funky switch from the norm. But more than that, she looks the part – fresh and fab!

When I saw this, I thought “mod” and Twiggy and the 60’s, and the Jay McCaroll part of New York Fashion Week this Spring. Mod, baby, yeeeeah! Ran has got the hair (she bangs!), the makeup, the dress, and seemingly, the attitude of a fresh mod girl from the 60’s. Looks like the kind of girl who’ll shake things up a bit, no? Yes.
