Wow. White boots. Winter. Wear?

What do you think of white boots?

For me, the first thing that comes to mind is that they would be really, really tough to clean. The second thing that comes to mind is how difficult it is to make them not look…tacky.

I think this young lady gets away with it quite well, don’t you? I caught her walking past me, and she looked great in her winter wear, with blue hat and white coat.

Also, you might notice that her stockings are actually blueish/purple and not black. It goes together better with her blue top and blue hat. Her miniskirt is safely neutral, a shade between black and gray.

I think she would have looked fabulous if she had been wearing that white sweater, along with her red bag for a nice accent.

화이트 부츠는 좋아하나요?

위에 그 이쁜 여자는 생각해서 옷도 잘입은 거같아요. 스타킹은 약간 줄무늬색으로신었고 (검정색아니고) 하늘색 상의와 모자랑 어울리는 거며 하얀 스웨터랑 빨간색 가방은 딱 필요하는 악센트하는 거예요.

되게 스마트하다.

근데 하얀 부츠자체 이쁘다고 생각해요? 이쁘게 신고 다닐 수 있다고 생각하지만 개인적으로는 2가지 문제 있어요.

#1 - 서울은 대도시이니까 관리하기 너무 힘들다. 앗 - 시골에서도 문제가 되겠네. ㅋㅋ 알아서 하시죠?

#2 - 멋지게 신고 다니는 건 좀…어려워요. 잘 못 신으면…어울리는 옷/악세사리랑…쉽게 촌스럽게 돼요. 더욱더 관리 잘안하면 그런 촌스러운 효과가 나와요. 자신이 있어요? 있으면…야호오오오오오우!!! ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

진짜로 근데 그 Chanel 부츠는 큰 영향 미친 거죠 - 2006년 fall season 쇼에서 나온 것. 내 개인적인 충고를 맏고 싶다고요? 언느들아…단순한 검정색이나 어두운 배경으로 (깜은 양말, 어두운 치마, 상의) 아니면 티 안나는 pattern이랑 신으세요. 제발. Chanel 모델들이 다 그렇게 하는 건데…Chanel모델보다 자신이 있다고요?!

와우. 대단하다. 그러면 fighting! ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Seriously, girls. Wear those white boots with pride of you have what it takes to pull them off, but wear them with a dark color palette as a background. Don’t get all crazy with it, since you…will…pay.

Trust me.

It just takes a little to mess up the look. My opinion? This boot almost works here, except that it doesn’t. If you think about it, they look like white rainboots, because the transition from coat to dark brown (!!!) stockings to white boots is too abrupt.

I don’t know about her clothes, but I’m not feeling the look as I see it here.

이 여자의 부츠는 거의 멋지는 건데 너무 갑작스럽게 막 티 나는 것같네요. 80% 좋지만 맨 윗여자의 분위기보다 좀 떨어지죠? 칼색(!!!)스타킹하고 좀 초록/회색(?) 코트랑 신은 거니까 그러나봐요.

어떻게 생각들하나요?
