Our book launching party was a great success! A lot of people came out, and a lot of people bought books — but the most important thing for us was the extremely positive reaction people seem to be having with our work. One of the most common reactions is: “Wow! The book is MUCH bigger than I thought it would be!” Well, in the case of the photographer-wanting-to-make-a-photo-book world, bigger IS better. Really — what more is there to say?

시간이 되었습니다. 포토북이 거의 완성되었어요. 믿을 수있는 PayPal을 통해서 예약주문이 가능합니다. PayPal계정을 만들지 않으셔도 당신의 신용카드 사용이 가능합니다. 당신이 이 책에 관해서 더 잘알 수 있도록 샘플 PDF파일을 올렸어요. 한가지 기억하셔야할 것, PDF파일은 대강의 이미지와 텍스트를 제공하지만 실제 북은 멋진 35cm 대각선 크기의 책입니다. 또한가지, PDF 모드는 원본파일에서 바로 레이아웃을 받은 것이라 중간이 접혀있거나 몇개의 공란이 있어 조금 헤깔리는 부분이 있을 수도 있어요. 뒤 커버지의 텍스트들은 PDF의 임의적 색상과는 달리 올록볼록한 은색입니다. PDF는 단지 책의 대략을 보여주는 것 뿐이예요. 실제 책은 정말 근사하답니다.

The time has come — the photo book is largely finished, and available for you to pre-order online through trusted merchant PayPal, which also allows you to use your credit card normally, without making a PayPal account. We’ve included a sample PDF for your perusal so you can get a sense of what the book looks like inside and if it’s your cup of tea. One thing to remember, though, is that the actual printed book is going to look gorgeous at 35 centimeters across, while the PDF is a cold approximation and placeholder for images and text. Also remember that the book, as it’s laid out in PDF mode straight from the original file, will be folded down the middle, and a couple blank spots have to do with how it will look folded, as opposed to sometimes not making sense on the page. And the text on the back cover will be filled with embossed silver, as opposed to the mere temporary color in the PDF — again, another example of how the PDF is just an APPROXIMATION of what the actual book will be like, and that’s GORGEOUS!
