“올 여름 HOT! 아이템, 예쁘게 입는 방법은?”
간단하게 알려드릴께요. 3가지 hot items있는데 이렇게 충도해주는 거네요. 본 기사도 읽어보시죠?:
Item 1 — 스키니는 가라 하이웨이스트 팬츠가 왔다!
(Tip! 허리가 가늘어 보이게 연출하라)Item 2 — 시원한 와이드 팬츠!
(Tip! 아랫배와 골반에 신경 써라!)Item 3 — 로맨틱 민소매 티!
(Tip! 팔뚝이 가늘어 보이게 해라!)
The title of the article asks the question before proceeding to offer 3 answers, along with helpful tips. I’ve summed it up for you, although you can refer to the original Korean article as well. These are the main points, though, regarding what some summer trends are projected to be on the Korean streets, as well as certain points Korean women are especially thinking about:
Share This! 퍼주세요!!!Item 1 — Skinny jeans are out, high-waisted pants are in!
(Tip! Practice subtly showing off that rear)Item 2 — Cool and breezy wide pants!
(Tip! Think about your lower abdomen and pelvis before trying this style)Item 3 — Romantic and expressive “big tees!”
(Tip! Subtly show off those forearms)

Hmmm, I don’t think skinny jeans are completely out, it’s just it’s wayyyy too damn hot now to wear jeans of any kind now. D; I vowed to myself that I would not wear any jeans this summer; the Seoul humidity is just HORRID.
Well here in the States they are saying skinny jeans and high-waisted jeans are both out.
It’s more about summer dresses (short light-weight dresses) are in.
poka dots or floral dresses.
but I could be wrong anyways I never like the high-waisted jeans. ~So 80′s.
Actually, I think high-waisted jeans are the LAST thing Korean women would want to wear, since people here have complexes about short legs and long torsos. Women’s fashion in Korea since the 1980′s has been all about maximizing the length of the leg, making the hips look wider (Korean hips tend to be narrow), and not making the torso look like a long tube.
I think the high-waisted jeans thing is another example of a hot Western fashion trend that is being dutifully reported here, without thinking about why it won’t likely catch on here. Sort of like how Korean women were all supposed to start wearing wedges two years ago, according to the online fashion press. We see how well THAT caught on here.
