I wonder what that story might be!
Who leaves just one shoe? Not someone who’s got their wits together, or is is able to go back and gt it.
Or perhaps someone was moving in, or had their commuter shoes on and working heels in a bag and it dropped out?
Or maybe was fighting with a boyfriend who said something snide, which prompted the woman to throw her shoe at him, bouncing off his car as he pulled away? Maybe she was so disgusted that she just went back inside?
We’ll never know, but it’s indeed interesting to think about what stories a random object may hide…
